Garden Show/ Pics
Well I�m not dead ya�ll, just got lazy about updating this thing. I think mostly because things have been going well and life is being pretty good to me lately. I tend to write more when I�m stressed or angry. But anyway�
What have I been up to? Working. My new schedule is fitting nicely into our lives. Paying bills. The extra money from Greg�s promotion has really come in handy. We�ve been paying down our bills and have still had enough left over to play with. Last weekend we went to the big lawn and garden expo in Nashville with Becky and Karen. We got up at the crack of dawn to meet them at Cracker Barrel for breakfast before heading out to the show. We had a really good time. The first building was for live displays and almost all of them were bursting with hyacinths so that building smelled like heaven! My favorites were the ones with the stone waterfalls, just gorgeous. I really enjoyed the flower arrangement room as well. There were some really unusual pieces and some that I really felt I could do myself. One of these days I�ll get around to trying all the things I want to, lol. Everywhere I turn there is some new craft, or activity I want to try or place I want to visit. Hopefully as we get older the time and money needed for all that will only increase! ;) Back to the garden show. The last two buildings were for shopping. Oh we had a field day! Karen brought her wheeled shopping cart and it was a good thing she did cuz we filled that sucker up! I did ok though, I only bought a garden stone and a tapestry pillow. There were loads of other things I wanted but I restrained myself, lol. We shopped till we just about dropped then headed out for a steak supper, Greg�s pick of course. It was a really fun day.
